Meet A Good Neighbor
At age 8 Delbret “Del” Taylor was a Patrol Boy at Dozier Elementary School. He represented his troop at the Boy Scout’s Council and at 16 he was elected President of Junior Achievement’s King Center at the old Sears Building.
Del graduated from Saint Louis University High School where he was a varsity wrestler, a member of the Organization for Black Achievement and representative in student government.
While earning a degree in Chemical Engineering from Washington University, Del was admitted into the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society for his campus activism. Del went on to study international business in Bangkok Thailand and complete his MBA from Kellogg (Northwestern University).
For 30+ years Del has been a successful engineer, consultant, computer systems specialist and business leader. He has helped dozens of global corporations improve their operations including AIG, FIJI Water, Ford, GM, New York Life, and Seagate. Del has visited 50+ countries and is an awarded entrepreneur.
Del continues to serve his community through active membership in the National Society of Black Engineers, National Black MBA Association, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated, Indivisible St. Louis, Missouri Healthcare for All and Show-Me Integrity.
Del has the business acumen, international exposure and community service experience to move our great state forward.
